Get your kayak on at Huron River Day Sunday
A full day of outdoor events is on tap for Huron River Day Sunday.
The annual event, coordinated by the city of Ann Arbor, will be at Gallup Park at 3000 Fuller Road in Ann Arbor.

At 11 a.m., a naturalist will lead a one-hour canoe trip around 2.5 miles of Gallup Pond. Call (734) 794-6240 to preregister.
From noon to 4 p.m. there will be a number of activities at the park, including a children's activity tent, a photo booth, live animal program, butterfly house, fishing, a small boat show and stand-up paddle boarding demonstrations.
Live music and food vendors also will be on site.
Those who ride their bikes to the event can rent canoes and kayaks for free. Otherwise, rentals will be $5 for Huron River Day.
