Gas prices went up 4 cents a gallon over the last week in Ann Arbor - and 6.4 cents in metro Detroit, AAA Michigan says.

Ann Arbor drivers were paying an average of $2.60 for a gallon of unleaded fuel today. That compares to $2.55 last week and $3.87 a year ago at this time.

Across metro Detroit, the average today was $2.58.

The statewide average for biodiesel is $2.56; for ethanol: $2.17.
