• Updated at 11:45 a.m.: Ann Arbor's Main Street reopens after gas leak

Firefighters and DTE Energy crews were responding to a gas leak at Main and Kingsley streets in Ann Arbor Wednesday morning.

Streets in the area had been closed, including Kingsley and Main streets and Beakes Street, Ann Arbor police said.

Motorists were encouraged to avoid the area.

As of 10:45 a.m., DTE crews were on the scene, and Ann Arbor police were expecting to have the streets reopened soon.
