Police are investigating the death of Pittsfield Township resident Dawn Fital, 45, after Indiana authorities recovered the body of a woman in a pond Thursday.
The Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office has filed a warrant charging Fital's boyfriend, Greg Noack, 44, of Pittsfield Township, with open murder.

12 articles per page on a2dotcom. 7 of which are about this case. Yes, it's an absolute tragedy, but I can't help but wonder, if this crime had happened somewhere other than in A2 would the coverage be this intense?

Can we re-word the headline? - it sounds kind of disrespectful to the victim & her family, and is headed toward sensationalizing the tragic end of a person's life.
