Firefighters battle blaze at apartment complex in Pittsfield Township

Firefighters from several departments were responding to a fire at the Spice Tree apartments in Pittsfield Township Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported in a building in the 4700 block of Washtenaw Avenue.
Firefighters from Pittsfield Township, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and Ypsilanti Township responded, Ypsilanti Fire Chief Jon Ichesco said about 9:20 a.m.
