It would be nice to have better coverage that this debate were going to take place, not just announce that they already had.

League of women voters? Right, why not just call it, anyone but a conservative!

I'm interested in learning more about what these candidates plan on doing to tackle the growing homeless problem in Ann Arbor. By problem, I don't mean a growing number of homeless people - what I mean is the noticeable increase int he flow of vagrants into the heart of this city, disrupting normal life for everyday working folk.

Good coverage! Feels a little like the old days, when we had a daily newspaper... But no story on last night's community meeting about Jackson/Huron road?

I wonder why there is no League of Men Voters. Go figure!

Maybe because (white) men have always had the vote? The League of Women Voters was started in 1920, just before 19th Amendment, which finally gave women the right to vote throughout the US. It was founded by women to help women participate more fully in the political process. The League is political, but non-partisan, and, I think, pretty awesome. http://lwvannarbor.org/ http://www.lwv.org/
