Hard to believe THAT many people voted in favor of Matty Maroun and his monopolistic Canada access. The new bridge is a no-brainer for Michigan. The defeat of the library proposal is going to cost taxpayers MORE money than if they had ratified it. Read the facts, folks, not the ads.

If you got to Ann Arbor Chronicle, there is a much more detailed list of the proposals and what passed and what didn't. Just saying, might be a good idea to check it out.

I know that not all the races in Superior Twp (as I'm sure in all the other townships and villages, etc) weren't hugely contested, but I would like to see the results. Either link it to a site that does report or put it on your website as I'm sure that is what this news outlet is for...to report...

Sorry about that— the link was inadvertantly removed from the article. It's been added to the top, but you can go here for every race: http://electionresults.ewashtenaw.org/nov2012/cumulativereport.html Thanks for letting us know!

It's "Shelia Johnson."

David Frye

Per the Michigan Daily "As of 8:15 a.m., top four regents candidates separated by less than 3 percent of the vote." http://www.michigandaily.com/news/17regents-election-too-close-call76 At that point it looked like it was likely Bernstein and one of the two Republicans, either Horning or Steele, who were in a virtual tie, with Diggs a little behind them. We may have to wait for all votes to know for sure.

Richard Douglass`

Wed, Nov 7, 2012 : 1:12 p.m.

Please name the two Ann Arbor proposals.

Ed Kimball

Wed, Nov 7, 2012 : 1:54 p.m.

A - Parks millage renewal B - Millage for public art

Melrose

Wed, Nov 7, 2012 : 1:11 p.m.

In the notes at the top, "township's" has no apostrophe. Why do we always see that around?!?!

Melrose

Wed, Nov 7, 2012 : 5:31 p.m.

I meant that it deserves no apostrophe.

Ed Kimball

Wed, Nov 7, 2012 : 1:53 p.m.

Now it does have an apostrophe. It should not, since it's plural and not a possessive.

Richard Douglass`

I accidentally downvoted you, and I can't take it back. Sorry about that The Emergency Manager Law is too close to tell. Last night ~90% were reporting in, and the remaining 10% cannot turn the tide on props 2-6, but they could on the emergency manager law. I imagine we'll know in an hour or two.
