Ypsilanti school district gets award

Gwenn McAuliffe, an account executive for the insurance company, SET/SEG, presented an Education Excellence sign to Ypsilanti Public Schools during the Monday, Nov. 23 Board of Education meeting. The sign was part of the recognition YPS received for the Clothes Closet, a clothing distribution effort that was recognized for providing an outstanding program for low income students. The state award is also sponsored by the Michigan Association of School Boards.
