Huron High School held its commencement Wednesday night at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center. Before 333 seniors received their diplomas, first-year Ann Arbor Public Schools superintendent Patricia Green pleaded for one more.
"Huron is actually my neighborhood high school," Green said, joking with the new graduates. "I believe that makes me an honorary River Rat."
The Class of 2012 is Huron's 44th graduating class.

Before you can be a River Rat, you have to establish residence within the attendance boundaries. That's the rules.
