The school's boilers and heating plant, as well as internet and phone connectivity, were also affected by the outage. Crews were working to restore them early Thursday morning.
EMU officials believe the outage was caused by a Detroit Edison feed interruption.

Clearly, the 60 + Robots at the Convocation Center had a big party last night, after the humans went home...(see related article about the Statewide FIRST Robotics competition being held there today!)

What really Happened? "The school's boilers and heating plant, as well as internet and phone connectivity, were also affected by the outage." Phones systems have a battery backup power supply, Power plants have back up generators, Heating plants run on nature gas and not electricity? Is this the beginning of the Alien Invasion?

Oh the humanity. The sky is falling, the sky is falling. I'm sure a certain poster know as trespass will call for an external probe into the cause of this power outage. I can only imagine what type of dark nefarious conspiracy was at work here. C'mon AA.com wackos breakout the theories.
