She has a track record of putting out press releases just a few hours before her town halls. Is that so she can surround herself with friends and family or is she just not very good at planning ahead?

Read the transportation study that's quoted. It's a wish list of road projects in Ann Arbor that the city doesn't want to pay for, and a resurrection of AATA's failed plan to run a few buses through many townships to create the legal ability to tax a lot more residents. Rep. Driskell, represent the interests of our district! We don't need a patsy for Ann Arbor.

You Rock Gretchen! It's funny, if a Democrat had suggested raising taxes to fix the roads, the Republicans would have vilified them. When Tricky Dick does it, there's hardly a wimper from the Tea Party or any of the County "Tax Payer's" parties.

I certainly hope North Territorial between Spencer and Ridge is on the list--it is terrible and getting worse by the day!

I think that it's great that Rep. Driscoll is meeting with the constituents in her district about issues that matter, like roads. It's better than the typical officials who show up at parades and county fairs for no more than a photo op.

So I gather she is trying to gather some votes? We know the condition of the roads Gretchen what are you doing about it?

I hope she doesn't intend to sit on the sidelines and heckle those that are working towards solutions, like SOME people do.

"Officials from the Michigan Department of Transportation, the Washtenaw County Road Commission and the Washtenaw Area Transportation Study will be at the meeting to give updates on road funding plans, upcoming construction projects and the long-range transportation plan for the county." Those who can do, those who can't merely complain about them.
