Barn in Dexter completely destroyed in early morning fire
A barn and motor home were completely destroyed in a fire that took place at 3 a.m. Saturday morning on the 7000 block of Donovan Road in Webster Township.
Dexter Area Fire Department Lt. Michael Grissom said when firefighters arrived, the barn already was without a roof or sides, and the motor home near it was on fire.
Grissom said their main goal after arriving was to contain the fire to the structures already affected.
The cause of the blaze still is under investigation and took firefighters about two hours to put out completely.
There were no injuries reported.
