patch.com: Michigan's oldest cider mill opens for season in Dexter
The oldest continually operating cider mill in Michigan found a way to stay open despite losing its apple crop this year, according to the Dexter edition of Patch.com.
Owner Richard Koziski found some apples from a supplier in West Michigan to buy for cider-making.
The result is a sweet cider, Koziski told Patch. The cost also will be higher, but Koziski said it lets him keep the cider tradition alive in Dexter.
