A large, noisy bird, er, helicopter, expected to hover over Dexter Monday
A helicopter is expected to place several metal beams on the border to border trail in Dexter linking Warrior Creek Park to Westridge Monday morning between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.
According to an update from Courtney Nicholls, assistant village manager, the contractor needs to place several metal beams with a helicopter to complete the work on the trail.
Currently, the placement of the beams is scheduled for Monday morning, though it could be delayed due to weather, the news update said.
The contractor will be using a helicopter to transport steel beams into the center of the construction site near the historical railroad bridge, Allison Bishop, community development director said via email.
The village is advising residents of the low flying helicopter in the Warrior Creek Park-Westridge area to reduce people's concerns for those who might see it hovering on the west side of the village.

It would be helpful and appreciated to include a Google map with location noted. I'm eager to track progress on the border to border trail in Dexter but have no clue where Warrior Creek Park-Westridge area is located.
