Man sought in connection with fatal shooting in Ypsilanti
Ypsilanti police said they have probable cause to arrest a man in connection with the fatal shooting Wednesday of a man inside a South Prospect Street apartment.
Investigators are searching for 24-year-old Kenneth Rooks and said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police said 21-year-old Jonathan Claude Rollins of Ypsilanti Township was fatally shot between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. Wednesday inside the apartment, which he was visiting. Rollins was shot at least twice in the upper body with a handgun after he got into an argument with an acquaintance, Lt. Paul DeRidder said.
Officers were called at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to the apartment, where Rollins was found dead in the living room.
Rooks is described as black, 5 feet, 5 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. He weighs about 240 pounds.

If anyone knows who this boy Kenneth Rooks is associated with, (friends or family), please let Ypsilanti police department know. If you know anything that will help in the capturing of this thug, please do the right thing. No need to be scared.

Is this the same Kenneth H. Rooks II, date of birth 08/11/1987, possibly on probation in Oakland County? for having a stolen car and fleeing from police? Or is it another one? If this is the one, does he have an active probation officer with a current home address for him? Or other contact info?

How about some more information on Rooks? Do some digging Lee. Criminal history, hometown, AKAs, known vehicles? During a murder case I expect more than your usual bare minimum facts.
