Woman accused of drunken driving crashes vehicle into stopped traffic
A 48-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated after she was accused of causing a crash at West Cross Street and North Wallace Boulevard in Ypsilanti Thursday.
According to an incident summary from the Ypsilanti Police Department, the driver failed to stop about 6:50 p.m. when approaching a stop sign at the intersection, which was already blocked by traffic.
The woman's car rear-ended the last vehicle in the line. Police determined the woman was intoxicated, according to the summary.
She was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. Charges are pending.

I hate to play grammar police, but the headline implies that a woman was first accused of drunken driving, then subsequently crashed her car into another. More accurate would be the reverse: 'Woman who crashed vehicle into stopped traffic accused of drunken driving'.
