Susan Wade, 49, is charged with one count of open murder in the death of her 86-year-old father, Ronald Mason. Wade has been held in police custody without bond since she was arrested on June 9, 2012.
Records show she’s scheduled to be in court for a final pretrial hearing at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in front of Washtenaw County Trial Court Judge Donald Shelton. It’s the last hearing scheduled before Wade’s trial date of June 3.
According to police, Wade stabbed and killed Mason on June 9, 2012, in their home in the 1700 block of Covington Drive in Ann Arbor. Mason was stabbed multiple times while he slept in his bed and again later when Wade believed she saw him moving, according to police.
Wade has a past history of drug abuse and schizophrenia, according to her family. She’s been declared competent to stand trial.

Whole Dude - Whole Spirit: I always seek the presence of spirit and soul to establish human existence. The soul of an elderly man has departed and we have this unfortunate problem of coming to an understanding of this untimely departure. I had served in Armed Forces where I spent my time evaluating people to know if they are mentally and physically fit to perform their task which in essence includes fighting the enemy and killing the enemy. Sometimes, I would challenge the person as to how many enemies he may want to kill if the combat gives the opportunity. At the same time, I would not hesitate to disqualify a person who thinks of killing himself, or entertains to kill another due to a thought disorder. The idea of spirit and soul I state brings peace, harmony, and tranquility. I promote the idea or concept of spiritual well-being to establish peace, harmony, and tranquility in intrapersonal, and interpersonal relationships.

Who let this women near her 86 year old father without supervision. Clearly family members knew she had mental issues. Sounds like it is one of those I don't want to be bothered with either of them (father & daughter) type of family. So sad.
