this seems to be an on going issue in the area. Several months ago a handful of vehicles were vandalized (tires slashed/ vehicles keyed) and a few weeks ago several of the parking meters were destroyed.

This happened to me years ago and I put word out with the local kids that the first one to bring me the name or names of the kids that did this would recieve a $50 reward. The next day when I arrived home from work 2 kids were running as fast as they could to tell me who did it, called the kids parents who ended up doing the right thing and paying for the tires and the reward I had paid out.

How can people be so destructive to other peoples belongings? This type of crime can happen in less than a minute, and the criminal is on his/her way out of the area. (may not even go far) Unless somebody actually saw this happen and makes a report, I doubt the person/persons will be caught.
