TVs, game systems and jewelry stolen during Ypsilanti Township break-in

A thief or thieves who broke into an Ypsilanti Township home while the residents were away Monday swiped electronics, jewelry and cash, sheriff's deputies said.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported the incident occurred sometime during the day Monday in the 6000 block of Hitchingham Road. The intruder, or intruders, forced open a rear door to the home, deputies said.

Video game systems, TVs, jewelry and cash were stolen from the home, deputies said. There was no suspect description available Tuesday morning.
