Televisions, laptops targeted in 2 Ypsilanti break-ins
Two break-ins were reported Wednesday to Ypsilanti police.
At 12:50 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 10 block of West Forest Avenue. The glass on the door of the business was broken out. A flat screen television was stolen, according to Ypsilanti police.
Later that day, a woman advised police someone entered her house in the 1300 block of Collegewood Street and took a Dell laptop and Samsung television. The incident was reported at 5:40 p.m.

This happened to me ..Both my tv and laptop were taken....WE really just need to clean up Ypsi, esp. the part closest to EMU...

Collegewood is in a very nice neighborhood in Ypsi (College Heights). The occupants have lived there for over 20 years without an incident. It is sad that people cannot feel secure in their own homes. Hope the culprits are caught.

Need bars on the windows in Ypsi and Ann Arbor. That's what they do in 3rd world cities like San Jose, CR. When you have a problem, don't wring your hands, fix it!

This is the second time they stole a TV from West forest. Sick of these low lifes.
