Teacher accused of giving sexual material and alcohol to teen

A Van Buren Public Schools teacher accused of having a relationship with a 15-year-old boy faces arraignment today, WXYZ reported.

Andrea Deanna Brennan, teacher at North Middle School, according to the district’s website, is expected to be arraigned on charges of distributing sexually explicit material to a minor, use of a computer to commit a crime and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

I wonder if the parents of the 15 year old keep track of him at 1:30 am. While some folks think they are well hidden in a car parked in an empty lot, it sure stands out when the patrol car comes by.

Comments regarding the teacher's appearance have been removed. Also - some comments that treat this situation lightly may technically fall within our conversation guidelines. However, I do hope that readers can react to this as a news story that has real implications for all of the people involved.
