The thief smashed out the passenger side window and stole a white purse with silver beads containing credit cards and an unknown amount of cash, according to the release.

The second incident occurred in the 1000 block of Anna J Stepp Drive, west of Huron Street.

Deputies determined the thief smashed out the driver’s side window of a vehicle sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 10:25 a.m. Thursday and stole a purse and cell phone, according to the summary.
