Northfield Township woman jailed after hitting police officer with car
A 26-year-old Northfield Township woman who allegedly struck a police officer with her car then fled was arrested four hours later after running through a swamp, the Livingston Daily Press and Argus reported Thursday.
The Green Oak Township Police Department was dispatched to a residence at East Shore Drive near McNally Road in Livingston County at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday morning for a party where 25 young adults were drinking alcohol.
The woman struck an officer in the upper thigh with her car as she attempted to leave. She also hit a mailbox.
The woman was found and arrested four hours later on Seven Mile Road. She faces felony assault charges.

The original charges are in Livingston County. So how is the officer who was hit? Any medical treatment? Hospitalization? Ambulance?

The line separating Washtenaw County from Livingston County does a pretty good job dividing Whitmore Lake itself equally between Northfield Township and Green Oak Township, and Eight Mile Road is just to the west of that line. That road separates the two counties and townships. So yes, Seven Mile Road is in Washtenaw County.

"Eight Mile Road is just to the west of that line." Huh? 8 Mile runs east and west.

The alleged crime(s) were committed in Livingston County. It appears that her Washtenaw County contact was that she was captured there. If you're referring to the Livingston County judges, OK. If not, as Archie Bunker would say: "Stifle yourself....."
