All three roads mentioned are gravel roads. A big farm field right across the road from your house (where the Jennings Road theft took place). The Huron River flowing behind your house (where the West Huron River Drive theft took place). We just don't immediately think of these settings for GPS thefts, but in areas where people live closer together. They do at Baseline Lake.

Another example of a sense of false securty. I know Webster Twp. is not Detroit, but common sense would dictate that you lock your vehicle even at home. One wonders if they leave their vehicles unlocked at work or while shopping?

Do you think a locked door is going to stop a criminal. I park my car in my garage.
