Drunken man walks into Ann Arbor home, falls asleep on basement floor
Ann Arbor police said a drunken 20-year-old Ypsilanti man was arrested Sunday morning after he walked into a home in the 1300 block of Pomona Road and fell asleep on the basement floor.
A man and woman inside the home awoke about 5:29 a.m. after hearing noises and found the man on the floor, police spokeswoman Lt. Renee Bush said.
The man walked outside, where he was arrested by officers, Bush said. He was intoxicated and confused, Bush said, telling police he thought he was at a friend's house.
Bush said the man entered the home through an unlocked front door.
Charges are pending.

Humm, I would have to agree that the home owners were lucky not to be victims of something worse. No drunks allowed in my home, doors locked or unlocked. Would really hate to shoot anyone.

Geez, that used to happen to me all the time. Absolute strangers waking me up and telling me I am in the wrong house. lol. No, really though. There were parties every where and I would get drunk and try to make it to the closest rest I could find. Besides that, they must have a really nice basement to have someone want to sleep on it. They didn't need to call the 911 and make the cops come. The kid was lucky enough that he didn't get robbed or raped even.
