Man knocked down and robbed of wallet and phone in Ann Arbor
A 62-year-old man was pushed to the ground and robbed by an acquaintance in Ann Arbor Thursday night, police say.
The Ann Arbor man was walking southbound on in the 500 block of North Main Street around 8:35 p.m. when he was pushed from behind. His phone, wallet and cash reportedly were taken from him.
The 40-year-old male suspect was known to the victim, police said. He was described as six feet tall, 180 pounds, wearing all dark clothing.
The 62-year-old suffered abrasions on his left knee.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
