Man hospitalized after scuffle at Ann Arbor bar
A 27-year-old Ann Arbor man was hospitalized Sunday morning after suffering a cut below his eye during a scuffle with employees of a downtownAnn Arbor bar.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said the man had been kicked out of Rush Street, 314 S. Main St., for his behavior earlier in the night. He ran back into the bar after being removed and two employees approached him.
Bush said the two employees and the man tussled and fell to the floor. During the altercation, the man’s face was cut. He was transported to University of Michigan Hospital to be treated.
Police responded to the bar at 1:08 a.m. Sunday, Bush said.
It’s unknown at this point if charges will be brought against the employees and no arrests have been made.

I was dragged there the other night with a group of friends and that place is the pits. Super loud, lame pop music, packed with cologne covered drunks, sticky floors... Sort of like the real Rush Street in Chicago, now that I think about it... I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Just don't mess with the employee's or bouncers in a bar. You pick a fight, you fine it.

Re-entering a bar that you have just been kicked out of usually ends in tears.

Scuffle and tussle are perfectly fine words that are always warmed-up and ready to join the English lexicographers' team, but neither really applies when they send you to the hospital afterward.
