Man charged with stealing from street musician in Ann Arbor

By Lee Higgins

A man was arraigned Sunday on charges he stole money out of a street musician's tip bin in Nickels Arcade, Ann Arbor police said.

Adrian Buford, 40, is charged with unarmed robbery and conspiracy, police said.

He is accused of grabbing an undisclosed amount of money Saturday from the bin as a man was playing an ocarina, which is a flute-like instrument, police said.

Police are looking for another man for questioning in the case.

"he stole money out a street musician's tip bin?" Whatever happened to proper english? Does the word "of" seem glaringly missing from this sentence? Makes the article sound kind of ignorant.

DennisP: Are you crazy? This dude used to play ocarina for The Bob Seger System, The Stooges, and The MC5! LOL

Maybe he was just making a statement about the quality of music from the ocarina player... he wanted a refun. lol! (just joking, I'm sure the musician is excellent).
