Laptop stolen during break-in at Ann Arbor fraternity
A laptop was stolen from a fraternity house in Ann Arbor over the weekend, police said.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said a 20-year-old Ann Arbor man went to bed at 1 a.m. Saturday and left his laptop on the counter of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. Bush said he had left the laptop on a counter near a sliding glass door, which was unlocked.
The man noticed the laptop and a converter box, which plugged the laptop into the house’s speakers, were gone at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Police estimated the laptop and the converter box were worth approximately $1,300. Police did not have any suspect information to release Monday.
