Game day police stats: 2 arrested, 15 ejected from Michigan Stadium
University of Michigan police arrested two people and ejected 15 others from Michigan Stadium during the Wolverines' Saturday home opener against Air Force.
The two arrests were for resisting and obstructing a police officer, and minor in possession of alcohol, said U-M Department of Safety spokeswoman Diane Brown.
Fifteen other people were ejected from Michigan Stadium: seven for alcohol in the stadium, four for disorderly conduct, two for violation of the stadium rules and two for possessing another’s ID.
Emergency medical personnel treated 66 people, of whom 9 were taken to the hospital, Brown said.

The numbers or stats on the arrests and ejections seem a little lower. Maybe the game was too much of a nail biter. Plus, it was Air Force and the U of M fans were out to set a good example. Wait 'till Sparty comes to town.

By the BP? I wonder if it could be the same slasher who sent the guy on 1st St. to the hospital? Just a couple blocks away. As the sun goes down I've noticed a strange crowd assemble around that BP....if you catch my drift.

Let's hope what few police who are on patrol can regularly drive by there much more often at night.

Hey I got some grapevine that there was a VERY violent assault or something near/at the BP on Williams/Main. Dunno what time, just that it happened last night. Something involving a guy "with his guts hanging out." Sounded REAL serious.
