Fight at party leads to shooting

By AnnArbor.com Staff

An argument at a party early Friday ended with one man going to the hospital with gunshot wounds, Ypsilanti police said.

At 3:23 a.m. Friday, police got a call from the victim saying he had been shot. Investigating officers found a crime scene in an apartment in the 1400 block of Leforge Road, where the resident was having a party. Police said the victim and another man argued, and the other man shot the victim three or four times, hitting him twice. The victim was sent to the hospital for treatment.

Police did not release information on the suspect or the extent of the victim's injuries, and no additional details were available this morning.
