The 25-year-old Dexter man charged in a Webster Township home invasion in August now faces felony charges in five Ann Arbor incidents, court records indicate.

Steven Colwell is wanted on warrants in five different cases. He faces four counts of second-degree home invasion, one count of first-degree home invasion and two counts of stealing a financial transaction device, records show. Colwell is held at the Washtenaw County Jail on a $10,000 bond on two different charges, according to jail records.

Colwell is accused of breaking into Ann Arbor homes on July 10, July 12, July 18, July 28 and Aug. 3, records show. He has not been arraigned on the charges as of Thursday morning.

The final break-in in Ann Arbor occurred just six days before Colwell was arrested in Webster Township by the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said a woman saw Colwell and two other men leaving a residence in the 7000 block of Quail Ridge. They are accused of stealing jewelry from the Webster Township home.

Colwell was the only one of the three men arrested on Aug. 9. Sgt. Geoffrey Fox, of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, said two other men were identified in connection with the incident but have not been charged.

Colwell is scheduled for a pretrial hearing in front of Washtenaw County Trial Court Judge Archie Brown at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
