Police discovered a broken window, which they believe is how the suspect or suspects gained entry.
"(They) then rummaged through the main office and stole an unknown amount of cash that had been collected through donations over the weekend," the release said.
The investigation is ongoing, but there are no suspects at this time.
It's unclear if the theft was linked to other recent church break-ins in western Washtenaw County.

Do not bother to mention that this could have been someone from within the church. It will only be deleted.

Response time from the time the alarm went off to arrival of WCSD? Is the alarm just audible or is it connected to an alarm company? Just interesting stuff to know on how the agency responds.
