Ann Arbor police are investigating a burglary reported Wednesday at an apartment home in the 800 block of Catherine Street.

Someone forced their way inside, knocked over laundry machines and took coins from them, police spokeswoman Lt. Renee Bush said.

The break-in was reported at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday by a resident at the home, Bush said.
