Arson suspected in fire that destroyed contractor's pickup truck in Ann Arbor
A fire that investigators believe to be arson destroyed a pickup truck owned by a contractor working on the Stadium bridges construction project in Ann Arbor, University of Michigan police reported.
The truck was discovered in flames on nearby Kipke Drive at 2:21 a.m. Saturday, according to the U-M Department of Public Safety daily crime log.
Ann Arbor firefighters put the fire out but not before it destroyed the truck. A fire investigator indicated the blaze had been intentionally set, according to the log.
No injuries were reported, and no other property was damaged.
The City of Ann Arbor tore down the crumbling 83-year-old spans over South State Street and the nearby Ann Arbor Railroad tracks and is building new spans in a $22.8 million project that includes added features for pedestrians and bicyclists

I met the man myself...seemed like a reasonable fellow...he didn't think it was an employee issue...
