A 19-year-old Ann Arbor man scared off an intruder who entered his bedroom Wednesday morning, police said.

The man told police he was trying to sleep at his residence in the 800 block of Oxford at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday when he heard his bedroom door open. He assumed it was his roommate.

The stranger left through the front door. Nothing was taken, police said.

The suspect is described as a 24-year-old black man, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and of medium build.
