Crashes slow commute on M-14 in Ann Arbor area
A pair of crashes was affecting the morning commute in the Ann Arbor area Thursday morning.
A two-car crash was reported at eastbound M-14 and Curtis Road east of Ann Arbor. It was on the median side of the freeway and was not believed to be blocking traffic, a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office said about 8 a.m. A Google traffic map indicated traffic was slowed on both sides of the freeway, however.
Police were also dealing with a car-deer crash on eastbound M-14 near Interstate 94 on the west side of Ann Arbor. That crash was not blocking traffic, the dispatcher said.

My husband said that there was a car in the median of M-14 after Ford Rd. with it's hood peeled back to the windshield and the left front fender was all crumpled. He didn't see any other vehicles though. Also, before that he saw two women standing next to a disabled car with the front right fender all screwed up heading east after the bridge. Is anyone keeping count?

Hey is that Deer accident where those apples dumped the other day? I want to say it was around there somewhere.

I watched a video of those apple crates being picked up at night, and recall that it happened east of US-23, east of Vorhies and Dixboro Roads.
