In reference to Parkway or Boulevard. I want to know why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways. LOL

You call Eisenhower Parkway a boulevard under the photograph. Did you call it that because of its divided eastbound and westbound lanes? When western Jackson Rd. was rebuilt to include a lot of islands with left turn lanes, we were told it was being changed into a boulevard, not a parkway. But I don't remember any stories about changing its name, just improving its flow of traffic with the islands, like Eisenhower has from one end to the other. Do you equate parkways with boulevards?

I've changed the name to Parkway in the photo caption.

Good point Ann. It is confusing, isn't it?
