Crash could slow traffic on M-14 east of Ann Arbor

By Cindy Heflin

Commuters could encounter traffic slowdowns on M-14 east of Ann Arbor this morning.

A two-car crash has been reported in the westbound lanes near Gotfredson Road, a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County sheriff’s department said.

The vehicles did not appear to be blocking traffic. State police had not yet reached the crash as of about 7:40 a.m., a dispatcher said.

No further information was immediately available.

Yeah, M-14 goes just a tad west of Ann Arbor before merging with I-94, but Gottfredson Rd. is almost to Plymouth - well *east* of Ann Arbor. Had me going for a minute, since we're headed west in a few hours.

On M-14 WEST of Ann Arbor? If I'm not mistaken, M-14 is northeast of Ann Arbor.
