Crash blocks lane of US-23 north of Ann Arbor

Update, 9:30 a.m.: The crash scene has been cleared.

A crash is blocking the left lane on southbound US-23 north of Ann Arbor. Traffic was backing up north of the crash site.

The crash near Six Mile Road, occurred about 7:30 a.m., a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County sheriff's department said.

Northfield Township Police and Michigan State Police were on the scene at 7:55 a.m., he said.

No further information, including how many cars are involved and whether there are any injuries, was immediately available.
