Water main break in Chelsea near Chelsea Milling Company

A water main at Hayes and West North streets, in Chelsea, near the Chelsea Milling Company broke at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, the Chelsea Update reported.
The city's water department is working on the break and has isolated its impact to certain parts of the city.
Residents have been advised that their drinking water is safe, but to let it run until it is completely clear.
An estimate of when the water main would be completely repaired also was not available.
