New Chelsea superintendent to suggest cutting assistant superintendent position
Chelsea School District’s new leader already has made a few administrative decisions, including eliminating one position, the Chelsea Standard reported.
The newspaper stated Andrew Ingall — who recently was promoted from executive director of instruction to superintendent, effective July 1 — plans to recommend cutting the assistant superintendent’s position.
Lynn Bollman, who is the current position holder, will re-enter retirement at the end of the 2011-2012 school year, the Standard wrote.
Ingall would like to promote high school principal Julie Deppner to his old position, and move athletic director and assistant high school principal Mike Kapolka to the head principal's position, the Standard said.
