Multiple road closures planned for Chelsea Community Hospital Heart and Soul fundraiser

The Washtenaw County Road Commission recently unanimously approved road closures for the Chelsea Community Hospital’s 23rd annual Heart and Soul Race/Walk in the city of Chelsea and Lima Township on Saturday.

The bike race begins at 8:15 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds from the race will be given to Chelsea Grace Clinic. There are 10K, 5K and 2-mile running routes, 5K and 2-mile walking routes and a 13.8-mile bike route.

Roads closures will take place on Trinkle Road, Lima Center Road, Seitz Drive and Fletcher Road from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Trinkle Road from Freer Road to Lima Center Road
Lima Center Road from Trinkle Road to Seitz Road
Seitz Road from Lima Center Road to Fletcher Road
Fletcher Road from Seitz Drive to Trinkle Road.
