The Washtenaw County Road Commission recently unanimously approved road closures for the Chelsea Community Hospital’s 23rd annual Heart and Soul Race/Walk in the city of Chelsea and Lima Township on Saturday.

The bike race begins at 8:15 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds from the race will be given to Chelsea Grace Clinic. There are 10K, 5K and 2-mile running routes, 5K and 2-mile walking routes and a 13.8-mile bike route.

Roads closures will take place on Trinkle Road, Lima Center Road, Seitz Drive and Fletcher Road from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

• Trinkle Road from Freer Road to Lima Center Road
• Lima Center Road from Trinkle Road to Seitz Road
• Seitz Road from Lima Center Road to Fletcher Road
• Fletcher Road from Seitz Drive to Trinkle Road.
