Chelsea Police asking for tips after overnight theft of flatbed work truck

Chelsea Police are asking anyone who might have seen suspicious activity in the 1500 block of Commerce Park Dr. overnight to contact them.

Police were alerted to the theft of a 1997 "Super Duty" flatbed truck with a welder on the back," at 6:45 a.m. this morning.

The vehicle is described as having "Panhandle Eastern Pipeline," written on the side. It has a white cab, while the flatbed is black with aluminum boxes and a large welder.

Anyone observing any suspicious activity in the area overnight or this early this morning are asked to call the Chelsea Police Department at 734-475-9122.
