Break-in reported on Platt Road

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Ann Arbor police are investigating a break-in reported in the 3600 block of Platt Road Friday afternoon.

The resident of a house on Platt returned home to find that someone had broken in, said Sgt. Paul Curtis of the Ann Arbor Police Department. Household goods worth about $550 were reported missing.

The resident believes an acquaintance may be the person who broke in, and his name was turned over to police for follow-up. The investigation is ongoing, Curtis said.

I would sure hate to think if someone broke into my home, that it would be somebody I know. Good job by the resident in turning a name in. Good luck!
