The first major snowfall of the season dumped nearly 7 inches across Washtenaw County Wednesday.

I don't consider the picture of downtown Starbucks to be a snow picture, but today was a rare day for me to pass by it. The kids in one photo reminded me of my own young relatives visiting the area from a country that doesn't get snow. On Christmas, they were looking forward to seeing snow come down from the sky and accumulate enough to make sledding possible.
