Ann Arbor School Board candidates to appear at Thursday debate
All six Ann Arbor School Board candidates are scheduled to debate from 7:30-9 p.m. Thursday at Ann Arbor Open @ Mack, 920 Miller.
The candidates — Albert Howard, Ahmar Iqbal, Patrick Leonard, Simone Lightfoot, Lawrence A. Murphy and Andy Thomas — are vying for two, four-year seats in Tuesday's election.
Thursday's event will feature a short presentation from candidates, followed by a question-and-answer session, likely focusing on the future of Open education in the district, according to the Ann Arbor Schools Musings blog.
See our previous story for profiles on the candidates.

I will be there with my spouse and daughter. I am very interested to hear what the candidates have to say about progressive education.
