Ann Arbor police seek charges against two after prostitution busts
Ann Arbor police are seeking charges against two women in separate prostitution investigations Saturday that involve online classified advertisements.
A 35-year-old Ann Arbor woman and 25-year-old Kalamazoo woman spoke over the phone with an officer posing as a customer, police said.
The Ann Arbor woman, who advertised on backpage.com - a classified advertising site - agreed on a price to meet for sex at her Creek Drive home, according to police reports.
The Kalamazoo woman, who advertised on craigslist, agreed on a price to arrange a meeting with two girls at a Victors Way hotel for a massage and other services she wouldn't disclose over the phone, reports said.
The officer attended both meetings. He identified himself as a police officer, then interviewed those involved, reports said.
The Ann Arbor woman told police she's been advertising herself as an escort for a couple weeks because she needs money to pay for food, a report said.
The cases have been forwarded to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office for review.

Engineering mom, I would suspect she meant she would have two of her "girls" there to meet with the john.

If "meeting with two girls" means she was arranging to meet with minors, this is no different than a 35 year old man arranging to meet with minors in a hotel!! @Zulu & John Galt - are you serious? Some prostitute is arranging to meet with kids for sex and you think the police are wasting their time?

If we had those 5 million jobs promised maybe they wouldn't have to alter lifestyles to survive?

I was watching a tv show last night about how there is a big problem with underage ( minors ) being solicited by pimps over internet ads ( in this case it was Graigs list ).Maybe that was the type of thing they were looking for

Home invasions, car theft, beatings on the streets. And this is what they are wasting resources on?
