Ann Arbor crime statistics for the week of May 2-8

Serious crimes in Ann Arbor experienced a marked decrease last week, ending a five-week streak of increases, Ann Arbor Police Department statistics show.
City police investigated 46 crimes in several categories last week, down from 64 the week before. Among the crimes last week were two robberies, eight burglaries with forced entry, three car thefts, one purse-snatching and 10 larcenies.
