I hope you read my column earlier today about my experience buying a lottery ticket. Unfortunately I didn't win, but maybe you did!

Highest number pulled was 29....? All my (our) easy pick tickets had a broad spectrum of numbers. Out of some 70+ tickets, none had all 5 numbers under 45. Not sure I trust the legitimacy of the randomness from easy picks anymore.

By my calculation, the odds of all the numbers being under 30 was about 2.38% -- small but not crazy small. Nothing to lose trust over.

That's why you have the option of picking your own numbers too.
